Another outstanding day of spring sunshine today in Colorado for today’s snow report from Arapahoe Basin.

With the sun out during spring break, the question usually is whether or not to go to the beach. At A-Basin, you can have both the beach and the snow! The beach is another term for the area at the base of the mountain where you can ski directly to the car park.

People can either book the best spots by paying, or fight it out for some on a first come, first served basis. You can find out a little more about the beach at A-Basin from a report we did there in 2011.

Today’s report sees Lars and Papa T from DC scoping out conditions on the continental divide and by the looks of things, it’s all about warm temperatures and a few beverages with friends.

Papa T also has some interesting facts and sight seeing from the mountain that you may already know… or may not.

The forecast is still calling for a cold and possibly snowy change at the end of the weekend, though only a few inches is likely at this stage if we are lucky.
