When you have a few inches of windblown snow in the ground at A-Basin mid week, you are in heaven!

Bryan got out in the brisk temperatures of Colorado today as Day 5 of the #EpicRace took him to what is largely overlooked as an advanced/expert resort. A-Basin can kick your butt on both the front and Montezuma (back) side. Unfortunately, the back side is yet to open, but great early season conditions (despite the odd rock and bit of ice) on the front side means there is plenty to go around.

I don’t know what it is about Arapahoe Basin? There just never seems to be anyone around, especially mid week. This is great news if you hate crowds, but not good if you only go riding for the fashion stakes!

With just one more resort to tick off the list in Colorado, tomorrow Bryan is going to be a part of an opening day to remember!
