Lake Louise<\/a> was one of the first places in Western Canada<\/a> to open this year. Today, they are continuing to open more terrain as La Nina shows her glorious face around a vast area of the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. Before we give you the full details of what is going on in the area, check out this video straight from the team at Lake Louise.<\/p>\n So along with the expanding terrain accessible at Lake Louise, many other resorts in the area are kicking things off this weekend as well.<\/p>\n What a list! These are without doubt four of our favorite resorts in the world. More to the point, Revelstoke<\/strong> is kicking things off with a 140cm snow base<\/strong>. For many resorts, they would do anything to have this kind of base during the peak season. Not for the interior of British Columbia though as Kicking Horse<\/strong> also boasts a base well over a meter having already amassed 300cm of snowfall this season<\/strong>!<\/p>\nLet’s check out the list of Canadian resorts opening this weekend:<\/h2>\n
