There is a big change in the weather coming from tomorrow, with a cold blast of air coming up from the south. The cold air will be accompanied by some moisture to bring good snow to sea level on the south island in parts, and especially around the mountains.<\/p>\n<p>Get ready for some powder days next week, although watch out for bitterly cold wind chill values as the wind also picks up, especially around the exposed areas. We are hoping for up to 40cm now in the higher alpine areas, though could also see up to 10cm on the valley floors. Don&#8217;t rub it in, we head back to Sydney tomorrow.
