Unfortunately the expected snow overnight and today didn&#8217;t fall, but at least the sun and the warmer temperatures made for a generous trade off.<\/p>\n<p>Although there is still the possibility of some small accumulation tonight, the next snow isn&#8217;t expected until later in the week, though confidence on the arrival of this storm is high. I know it is a long way out, but the models at this stage are leaning towards a big dump sometime next weekend, so the fingers are well and truly crossed and we&#8217;ll keep you up to date with the movement of this storm.<\/p>\n<p>We also take a look at the snowfall and snowbase figures from around the resorts today in our weekly wrap.<\/p>\n<p>For now, enjoy the sunshine, but keep in mind the freeze \/ thaw conditions may be back this week, so stay high, or stay in areas protected from the sun for the best snow conditions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Breckenridge Colorado delivered a sunny surprise today after an overcast start.
