Conditions for interior British Columbia and Alberta ski resorts are simply incredible. Not only is there a deep base across all resorts in the area, though the snow keeps coming as well with cold temperatures to keep it in great shape.

This is the official video report from the Lake Louise ski area with details of what is going on and some great footage from today on the snow.

Usually this time of year we are talking about spring conditions and riding the spring slush. Not yet! The forecast for the area is for more snow in the next few days and temperatures should keep the snow in fairly good condition, despite the longer days and higher sun angle.

Our suggestion? Get the heck out there! You can bet your sweet behind that late March isn’t going to be like this every year, so be sure to make the most of it while you can. After all, winter is almost over and we know you will be sliding into a fit of depression as soon as we turn off the powder days.
