Blue skies, sunshine and SUPER warm temperatures today for my first ever day at Vail.
What an amazing resort. I think I may have found my new favorite resort on the planet. I mean, this place is cool… and very, very big! The terrain is geared well toward the advanced skier and boarder, but there is definitely something for everybody.
Warm was an understatement today as the mercury got to double digits Celsius and over 50F.
Keep an eye out for the freeze / thaw conditions, so the tip is to stay on areas that are least sun exposed, including the trees.
This WILL NOT be my last trip to Vail. I can’t wait to test this place out on a powder day.
