Tirol Austria Spring Snow Report – March 23rd 2012

This final snow report for the season from GH, comes to you from Tirol in Austria.

It’s glorious spring skiing conditions in the European Alps at the moment with temperatures well into double figures in places and even warmer in the valleys.

Glorious conditions in Austria

The substantial winter snow base though has ensured that conditions for this time of year are at a premium with small crowds and good skiing a highlight.

No new snow is in the immediate forecast, though plenty of sunshine is, so remember the sunscreen and get out there!

Tip of the day is to remember layers of clothing, no matter what the conditions seem like at the start of the day. Geoff here highlights the fact that despite the warm temperatures, he is still wearing plenty of warm clothing due to a cold breeze.

Thanks go to GH and the crew based in Austria for their wonderful work for the season and we hope to see him back again at the start of the 2012/2013 ski season as well.

Enjoyed this? Here’s some other stuff we think you’ll find is awesome too!
