Today’s report comes from a very snowy St Johann in Tirol, Austria. Though before we get on with the details, we would like to extend a very big and warm welcome to the newest member of the Snow Report TV team, Geoff, or also known as “GH” to his legion of fans.
Geoff brings years of skiing experience to the table and has a tremendous knowledge of some of the major European ski hills, having spent a great deal of time and several seasons carving out turns in many locations.
The last report for 2011 is full of fresh powder with conditions looking amazing at St Johann. 40cm of fresh snow has fallen across the resort which is great news for the holidaying crowds to enjoy.
With a lot of snow falling, the forecast is tending towards a week of slight warming with the prospect of some sunshine not out of the question.
