Northstar California Snow Report – Lake Tahoe 25th March 2012

Following great recent snowfall, Northstar California is shaping up for a great spring season!

The huge snowfalls from a week ago may be well in the past, though they have left a fine legacy across the Lake Tahoe area with now a great base ensuring a super spring is on the way.

Possible smaller systems continue to roll through the Tahoe area, though not much accumulation is expected until possible Tuesday into Wednesday. At this stage it is hard to tell, though there is a good chance of up to a foot of snow across most areas if the conditions are right.

Beware of some icy sections when skiing or snowboarding around Northstar this week. Also be aware of any overnight freeze that may make riding off piste a little more challenging first up in the morning.

When the sun comes out, be sure to remember the sunscreen and fingers are crossed for that mid week top up.
