Meet Bryan Baecker – Our Newest Host

Drumroll please! Ladies and gentlemen. Introducing the latest addition to the Snow Report TV family, Mr Bryan Baecker!

Bryan Baecker

Bryan just happened to be standing around with his snowboard indoors

So how did he come to be a part of our team? Well, generally it all starts at the bar, doesn’t it?

When I was fortunate enough to attend a conference called “Snowcial” earlier in 2013, I met a guy from Sacramento that from the get go was the life of the party. He was charismatic, funny and an all around great guy (he paid me to say that). Further, he could shred the hill on a snowboard as we found out over several days tearing up the Heavenly slopes.

After the usual “hey, next time you are in Australia, come and visit” comment, I hardly expected a phone call just a few months later!

Following his visit, we got planning and scheming as to our next snow adventure. Bryan seems to have taken it to a complete new level though. Just a few days ago, Bryan Facebooks me and says, “I’m going to do the EpicRace”. What is the EpicRace you ask? No big deal. Just a race to ski 26 mountains in 4 countries on the Vail Resorts EpicPass where the first 10 to complete the journey win a LIFETIME EpicPass (nice promotion Vail)!

So here we are. Just 3 days before his epic journey begins. Website whipped together in no time (check it out at BryanBaecker.com) and the bags are almost packed.

Sure, Vail obviously doesn’t want any branding or logos placed on Epic Racers, but I will tell you one thing… we will be smashing the #GoBryanGo hashtag on all social media to help get him home. Oh, by the way… he has no idea how to get around Europe, so the adventure should be fun if nothing else!

On his journey, Bryan will also begin his reporting for Snow Report TV, so we look forward to getting a world wide snow report… from just one guy.

#GoBryanGo – Use the hashtag now, damn it!

Enjoyed this? Here’s some other stuff we think you’ll find is awesome too!
