A pretty cold day in Heavenly after a few inches of fresh snow fell yesterday. The forecast is calling for much more snow in the coming days, though for now we are happy to get in a few powder turns.

In this episode, Bryan also tells us of a very scary trick he uses to ensure his snowboard is always waxed correctly! HINT: It involves his mom.

Bryan had a quick trip to Heavenly today, before heading back home and packing for the European leg of the Epic Race. Although he is fortunate to spend time at home, Bryan can’t help but think that his new X-Box and a seat on the couch would be a nice thing to do right about now.

Unfortunately for Bryan, the Epic Race rolls on and even worse is that his home mountains are set to be coated in two feet of white in the coming days with a big storm bearing down on Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas.

If you are heading to the area, you can expect more terrain to be opening, though the only catch will no doubt be the wind, with snow often bringing high winds along the ridge lines. Be patient and you’ll be skiing as soon as the wind plays ball. It will be worth it!
