Colorado Breckenridge Snow Report 27th February 2011

Breckenridge Colorado delivered a sunny surprise today after an overcast start. Unfortunately the expected snow overnight and today didn’t fall, but at least the sun and the warmer temperatures made for a generous trade off.

Although there is still the possibility of some small accumulation tonight, the next snow isn’t expected until later in the week, though confidence on the arrival of this storm is high. I know it is a long way out, but the models at this stage are leaning towards a big dump sometime next weekend, so the fingers are well and truly crossed and we’ll keep you up to date with the movement of this storm.

We also take a look at the snowfall and snowbase figures from around the resorts today in our weekly wrap.

For now, enjoy the sunshine, but keep in mind the freeze / thaw conditions may be back this week, so stay high, or stay in areas protected from the sun for the best snow conditions.

Enjoyed this? Here’s some other stuff we think you’ll find is awesome too!
