Ski Resort Conditions and Weather Forecasts

Breckenridge Snow Report Colorado March 8th 2011

Breckenridge Snow Report Colorado.

Firstly, I put my neck out suggesting we’d get over a foot of snow with this current storm. Confidence was high with almost all of the computer models indicating a substantial fall. One problem. It didn’t come.

Instead, we got a dusting to an inch of new snow which on any other day would have be very welcome. It freshened up the cover and provided some great conditions across the resort. Unfortunately, it was well short for expectations and I’ll be the first to put up my hand and say I was wrong… along with every other weather forecaster in the country, so it would seem.

The alpine is still in the best condition, though the trees are still providing excellent snow if you are willing to get off the beaten track.

Enjoyed this? Here’s some other stuff we think you’ll find is awesome too!
