Ski Resort Conditions and Weather Forecasts

Breckenridge Snow Report Colorado 3rd March 2011

Breckenridge today unfortunately failed to deliver the several inches of snow that were forecast, though did dish up superb skiing and boarding conditions.

Although temperatures again were above freezing down low, the alpine bowls were the place to be with wind packed powder and the occasional wind drift to be had.

Winds themselves were light and visibility was good despite the cloud cover. All in all a great day to cruise the mountain.

Once again, the crowds were sparse right across the resort and it didn’t take much to get away from the scattered few.

Snow remains in the forecast with a few inches called for between now and the weekend, though the big story remains the front we are tracking due to arrive late in the weekend. Although computer models don’t agree (what’s new) on how much snow should fall, almost all of them agree there are a generous handful of inches likely.

Enjoyed this? Here’s some other stuff we think you’ll find is awesome too!
