Breckenridge Colorado Snow Report 16th February 2011

Snow is on the way to Colorado! How much is the question. Tahoe is enjoying a storm at the moment with 6 inches last night and forecasts predicting up to 2 feet over the coming days.

Snow is expected in the Southern Colorado resorts first and most with these storms, though Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek and others should still see anywhere up to 6 inches over the coming 24 hours. Snow should then be quiet until the weekend when another small storm comes through dropping maybe a few inches.

On the hill today, you could see how much snow had melted over the past week despite the incredible base. It is slick on the groomers and hard packed powder in the bowls.

We need a freshen up of snow fast and it looks like this storm could deliver at least a little.

Enjoyed this? Here’s some other stuff we think you’ll find is awesome too!
