Ski Resort Conditions and Weather Forecasts

3-2-1 And, Action for 2014-2015

Here we go again folks. But let’s kick off with this season’s teaser thanks to Jackson Hole!

Another season is ready to get underway and resorts are already spinning some lifts.

Arapahoe Basin won the first open award this season despite a warm October and early November, though the wait has yielded back to back storms ripping across the west of the country.

This week has seen several feet of snow fall in the last few days in places, with Wyoming, Utah and Colorado (amongst others) all buried under white making resort management a little less stressed after a long Fall.

Jackson Hole released this video teaser for the season a few days ago, though today, they have the ruler out on deck furniture to show off the new snow.

Today, we saw Breckenridge and Keystone join resorts such as Copper Mountain to be some of the first open in Colorado, whilst on mountain teams scramble to have as much terrain open as possible come the busy Thanksgiving holiday.

Meanwhile, higher elevations in Europe have seen dramatic storms and several feet of snow before the lifts even swung into gear. Be sure to follow our Facebook page for all the big snow falling news!

For now, we dream of white and are extremely jealous of those already enjoying turns at the open resorts.

Enjoyed this? Here’s some other stuff we think you’ll find is awesome too!
